Craft Fairs for 2012:
We will be holding two craft fairs this year, Sunday 18th March from 12noon to 5pm(Mother's Day) & Sunday 30th September 2012 from 12noon to 5pm.

Easter:
Join us for an Easter Egg Hunt starts at 12noon Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday and runs on the hour every hour until 5pm.
Teddy Bear's Picnic
Join us at the farm for our annual Teddy Bear's picnic, an afternoon full of great family fun. Bring your Teddy Bear along, dressed up in his finery and enjoy a picnic out on the farm, prizes for the best dressed Teddy. Chose your picnic from our special 'Picnic Menu', our Cafe menu, or bring along your own delights. A truly entertainning day out,Sunday July 15th 2012.
Crazy Conker Competitation
NEW for 2012, we will be hosting a conker competitation Sunday October 14th 2012, check back on this site to find out all the details nearer the time. A must for all those with a competitave streak!
Halloween:
Join us on Sunday of Halloween weekend (Sun 28th Oct 2011), for face painting, traditional Halloween party games & a themed spooky Halloween menu at our cafe. Come in your fancy dress and have your face painted to complete the look. Starts at 12 noon.Face painting run til 4pm.
School Tours:
Blackwater Open Farm is an ideal location for your school tour, for children of all ages. Packages include tour and lunch or just a tour. Contact us for more details and special group rates. We are located only a couple of minutes for a beautiful sandy beach which you could also incorporate into your tour.
Birthday Parties:
Looking for a different venue for that special birthday, there are a number of options available at Blackwater Open Farm, you can provide the catering and cake, or take the hassle out of it and let us do the work and we can cater for your party, from savoury treats, to birthday cakes and decorations.
Hens on the Farm:
Included in this day out, cooking class, wellie throwing, pedal go-karting, alcholic delights, lunch and a few surprises.
Christmas:
Santa arrives at Blackwater Open Farm, Saturday 1st December, Sunday 2nd December, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th, Saturday 22nd, Sunday 23rd from 2pm to 6pm each day. Booking not necassary to see Santa on these dates.
For groups of 10 children or more you can make a very special booking to visit Santa any date in December and have him exclusive for your group, (book group bookings early to avoid dissappointment)
